Ahjeossi is what I call this rich young guy leaving in this huge house above the slope just 50metres away. Every night (since i came back from hall and started to walk floggie regularly) I would peeped into his porch to see if his BM is back!

*laughs* no lah…not so cool…it’s not convertible (as far as i’ve seen it before)

Well..naturally for rich young kids who leave alone, i gauged his returning time is always past 10 and sometimes he don’t even come back till morning *tsktsktsk* So the reason for today’s post is because after spying for a year (i think)

This was because, two nights ago while walking floggie, she insisted on walking towards that house (which had small patches of grass there) So while waiting for her to sniff her stuff, from afar i saw this car dashing down the road, past the traffic line, towards my direction + in the wrong direction lane. “wa…” was my first reaction! Who would be so cool to drive that way!?!? So thinking that it’ll just speed past me and into the abyss (it was about 1030pm), I continued looking at where the car would head to. Keeping my eyes on the car, it stopped RIGHT INFRONT of the house. “?”, i wondered as i slowly see the auto gate opening up!!!! OMG OMG OMG!!!!!!!! ITS HIM ITS AHJEOSSI!!!!! WAAAAAAA! in fact i was very shocked it stopped before me, i hope my expression was not ugly (but i was dressed damn ugly-ly plus my hair was so damn messy…SHIT!) So…the car drove in, and for ONE SECOND! Just ONE SECOND, we exchanged glances!!!!! (at least that’s what my poor eye sight assumes). My heart burst for that second but recoiled when i recall what i saw. Hahahha, it’s not because i saw something disgusting but…it doesnt look like a korean! AHAHHA…or so i assumed all handsome and rich guys are from korean dramas! From my recollection of that second, he had spiky hair, he was wearing a singlet (I THINK) and he was wearing a wrist guard as i could tell when he had to turn the steering wheel with his right hand into the house on the left (so the right hand is at the top position) AND HE LOOKED AT ME WITH HIS FACE TILTED OVER HIS RIGHT HAND!!!!!!! SO COOOL! but…i thought that his skin was alittle …ahha chocolatey colored which…looks alittle indon (but he is la..) Or….maybe it’s just the time of the day! Since it was dark! ahahha.. I DO NOT KNOW >.<!!!

Today i went to walk floggie again..this time at 11pm…but ahjeossi is not at home! tsk tsk tsk naughty right!! Doesn’t mean that his parents’ are in indon he can stay out so late everyday! SOMEMORE HE GOT PERSONAL MAID OK!!!!!!!!! damn super rich! AND HE DRIVE BM LEH! and i heard from my mum, HE’S A STUDENT HERE! i bet university, must be SMU or SIM! ARHHHHHHHHHHHH!

So i went to watch 3D avatar (ahhah sorry i change the topic rather quick today) Erm…1 word: Rocks!

and…I THINK THAT EUGENE LOOKS LIKE THE AVATAR! ahahhahahaha! I was totally fascinated!! I never knew he was from PANDORA!

After laughing at the similarity for 2hours, we arrived at waraku@eastcoast! The most fascinating thing that happened after eugene’s avatar identity was revealed: THE FOOD CAME IN LESS THAN 5MIN AFTER WE ORDERED!

2010 resolutions

sian…its been like 6 years since i was so resolute to loose weight and now that im 23 this year, i think its really time for me to shape up for working life!

I’ve been considering a few places (ok…with my results, i don’t think i have the place to consider…but at least my cap went up this sem! yummie), i think i can’t reveal it here lest they track me down and know how thick skin i am…so let’s just say, they’re huge companies >.< yay! I hope they’ll accept me and pay me well!

I thought i could see snow in the first week of Jan 2010, but turned out that cambodia and extinguish any adventurous spirit left for the year, so instead of travelling to Dad’s place to see snow, i decided to laze around for the last time of my life as a student who’s having her deserved holiday!

I actually have 3 more…but they aren’t so prominent so i shall not mention them =)

2010 will be a year of vast changes and transitions for me in life. I’d graduate from Uni and step into the working society for good, for the first time. I used to think that working is fun, doing odd temp jobs here and there was stress-free and a good break from studying. Now that I am actually going to do this sh*t for the next 20-30 years of my life, its a little scary now. Where to start, what to start with…I’m sure i’ll be bogged down by these questions for the next 7months =) But actually, I should worry first more on how i’m going to get B+ for my FYP! ahhah I MUST get B+ no matter what man! And sadly to say…this whole holiday i’ve been slacking my butt off that i haven’t got down to plan for my experiment! Ok…let me worry about that next week and i shall happily enjoy the rest of this week =)

It’s 1am now, but the sad news is i woke up at 5pm because i reached home at 10am!hahah shhhhhhhh!! I spent the last minute of 2009 on the taxi on the way to eugene’s house for supper!! Oh…yesterday has got to be the proudest moment i ever had of eugene because he was performing on stage on a countdown party (for channel 8 i think) with all the “bigshots”. Seeing eugene stand so far on such a big stage…ahhah happy happy…as if my son has done something honorable! wee~ ok…i shall now reveal my current look!

ITS BANG BANG AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ahhaha now its time to loose weight cause my face looks too chubby!!! Gnight!

Cambodia

Hearing a slow nice korean song makes me feel like blogging!

2 weeks back, i set foot on Cambodia for the first time in my life…It was a very good break from my life in this ever busy city. To be singing songs at the foot of mountains while fresh breeze brushes through my body. Nature at this proximity makes living beautiful. My business was mission.

Mission in this trip was to love the kids in cambodia, love them not only psychologically, emotionally but physically and materialistically. Through this trip we saw God’s miracle and hand of protection time and time again; i guess the fact im back in SG is itself a miracle =)

Miracle #1: We collected used clothes and gifts to be brought over to the children in Cambodia. I have never thought about this before, but we can only check in a max of 20+ kgs of baggage for check-in for flights. The stuff which we collected itself was 700kgs! LOL! I got a shocked too! And the limit we had was 300kg in total for 13 pple and that is inclusive of excess baggage allowance which we bought already. Stunned, we prayed, looked at each other and left the counter and God did it! 400kgs of overweight baggage…hahaha

Miracle #2: So after depositing those collected stuff, in order not to over exceed further we had to hand carry our own luggages that i presume was like 11 kgs! So we carried them all the way to the boarding area from the customs…but the problem is..WHERE ARE WE GOING TO PUT THEM ON THE PLANE? on the aisle? no? but 1 overhead storage cabin is not enough to squeeze our huge bulky luggage! Huh! then when we walk into the plane, we’re going to look like obese bulls crossing the aisle. So as i thought we were going to have special leg rests for the flight, one attendant at the boarding area offered to check in our luggages! Woah, i never knew u can “check in” baggages at the boarding area! Such awesome offer which i never knew! So we ended up hands-free and it was such a relief! God did His thing again!

Miracle #3: The previous time the team went to Cambodia for mission was a year back. Back then, they travelled via a small van which 10 pple had to squeeze. Now this time, we have 13 and we have 2-3 times more baggage! HOW? But what greeted us at the airport is a mini bus that could sit like 20 people! But despite so, our baggage was so much that it filled the whole of that mini bus to the brim…So, we’re going to sit on top la? ahhah, but no…somehow the hotel sent another van there! Although it was small, we were all small too, so it was just nice for us  and we all made our way comfortably to the hotel.

Even before we started doing physical work,  God has shown His mighty self to us in these 3 ways. I think you can imagine how awesomely smooth the trip went the following 9 days! I shall pause now! Cause im tired!!So goodnight for now!

Holidays WEE~

HELLO! proclaiming to be the most inconsistent person in this world…YES It’s me! Im back again!

I was like super super busy after exams ended that i didn’t have time to blog or anything.

So, from when i ended my exams on the 2nd of Dec, i had fun from 3rd to 5th and then 6th i moved out and 7th went for a church camp and came back on the 9th.

10th, 11th, 12th, 13th in preparation for my Cambodia mission trip and 14th OFF i zoomed to cambodia!!

Cambodia really rocks my socks. Such laid back living style and fawesome scenery at the rural side of the country. I was blessed enough to be able to spend one night at this orphanage home at this rural area in Cambodia called Koh Kong. We had christmas party with the kids, singing christmas songs and playing light sticks against the densely populated sky (filled with my favouritest thing in nature: stars).

Bus rides to and from cities and states were torturous but made fun of the people within the team. A very talented and complete team that we did not lack in any area of expertise; proving that God’s providence and His mercy for Cambodia.

While I was at the last city in Cambodia; Siem Reap (the capital), the pastor over there was so burdened by the strongholds which held captive the Cambodia people that HE wept in public. Well, he was praying & weeping actually and I was really touched that this pastor had such a big heart to be so concerned for the souls of his fellow people. If it were me, I think I’m selfish so I shouldn’t talk about “If it were me”. AHahhahah

Shopping was friggin fun! I love bargaining (not to get the best price but to “sa jiao” with the sales girls). The people there are really cute! I love it when they react to my prostrating of my body onto the table to beg for a 1dollar or 50cents discount! ahahahah…to me, these 1/2 dollars aren’t going to make much difference in my life, but im sure it can be used to feed their family for another day…But then again, you’ll never know if some evil tycoon is merely using them to earn money and pay them only 10cents!hmpf!

I really miss the life in Cambodia, i had something to do everyday and i had to force myself to wake up at 7am (cambodia time, 1hr behind SG). Now, i just sleep until the sun scorches my butt *sighs* and i have no motivation to clean my room YET AGAIN! It’s ass pain to clear up my room man! ahahah Ok, besides eating and surfing the net to watch my dramas, it’s sleeping and sleeping…So…im going to sleep now! I’ll most up photos else wait for facebook!! Goodnight zp!

Oh NO!

i have a paper at 9am and im still awake at 1am! gaaa!! The reason is…its Iani’s birthday yesterday!ahhaha wondering why isn’t “today” instead? cause ytd she’s not free!! wahahha! somehow i feel like i just old a joke, that wasn’t meant to be, but anyway did. Oh wells…im born humorous!

Once again, despite having an exam tmr, my nerve seems to be ultra calm, my brain seems to be only functioning for 1 hour (which sucks because my paper is 2). And today i finished watching 1 drama (i only watched the last episode) hahaha…i meant i watched the whole series already and today i watched the last! and…im super super super jealous of the actors!

Its about the girl who dressed up as boy to stand-in as an “idol” in the group called A.N.Jell for her twin brother who went to do plastic surgery!AHHAHA! So while she camouflages herself in the all-boys (3 of em) house, all of them fell in love with her at a non-cheesy way! The guy 2nd on the left there…he can act cute really well!! It’s called “You’re beautiful” which plays on the girl’s twin brother’s name 美男 (mi-nam in korean – which means beautiful) so since everybody called the girl mi-nam, so she and her brother are both mi-nams so in chinese the title is 都是美男啊! hahaha wooooooooooooooooah…so cheem right!

Ok…whilst waiting for the birthday cake to come back…im getting more n more tired…but its okay!! for a girl who’s so nice to us even though we only know her for 2months or so! She’s taufiq’s gf =D ok..nobody knows taufiq here! It’s one of 5th floor’s shortwing freshy who’s also damn gum wif eugene…

WEE they’re back!! ahhahha BYE!

Paranormal Activity

Amidst slacking…let’s blog some more!

 

Last wednesday…i finally went out with eugene for our long forgotten to-do activity = DATE! And we went to catch paranormal activity!

I think that…its a damn sad show, because the loving boyfriend died at the hands of his possessed girlfriend at the end! However, i think that its the boyfriend’s own fault for provoking the demon! Sounds so like what eugene would do…i mean…would you purposely say stuff like..”Huh…you think you’re there? Is that all you can do? I think you have nothing to say now uh don’t you…can you speak to me…in english!?” ahaha lol!! It’s funny as a story but maybe not so when you’re actually under terror!

So after that, we went to eat at kopitiam (oh this is all in vivo) and i was rather shocked that there was a kopitiam there! I always thought there was only a food republic which is like expensive and not fantastic! Now i will support kopitiam! and of course there is always seah im! ahahha!!Ok..nothing else to say ler leh…oh

IM EXCITED TO WATCH SAW VI l8r! Aili-baba gave me a sneak preview of one of the scene which is 2 guys competing who can chop off more meat from their body right! ahahha ew man…better not eat too full for dinner!!!Hais…but how am i going to come back from lido l8r >.<!!!cab!?! oh no!! hee alright…one more hour and im going to set off! SO EXCITED TO GO OUT DURING EXAM PERIOD! WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! kaes…study 1 more hour!! bye!!

Ok…back to blogging!

Da jie’s birthday was 18 nov, but unfortunately we only got to eat on 21st bcos daddy wasn’t in town. So the 5 of us went down to katong to eat Korean BBQ at Ju Shin Jung…boy…1 word….s*ckss! Reasons why are as below

1. the side dishes wasnt fancy at all

2.there were only 4 variety of meat…out of which…3 pork, 1 chicken

3.Despite the fanciful layout of 4 veges on the long tray, refill came 10minutes after ordering (svc slow sia…)

4. Despite only 3/4 filled dining area, nobody bothered to clean the plate from this pathetically squeezy and small table!

5. Speaking of which, when i crossed my leg (the lady style) I almost melted my feet because i accidentally brushed against the hot stove compartment below the bbq area! I was like OMG! because the bbq technology they used was gas type, so i was quite taken aback when i see the grills turning red and i started to imagine ancient medieval torture methods.. wahlao eh….branding must have hurt like shit man!!

So…that was Ju Shin Jung @ Katong, i heard the branches at east coast and the main branch at west coast (near hawpar villa there) is much better.. BUT!! the best is still “Chang’s BBQ” @ Dempsey! IF you do have a craving for authentic and superlicious korean food…there’s a heaven for you! ahhahah

I love my short hair!! ahhahah…Thanks for reading guys! I’m starting my exams soon (although everybody is starting like soon as in tmr or the day after…my soon is coming saturday! ahahah). But before that i’ll have my FYP CA2 presentation which is like 30% of my FYP = 4MCs worth on thursday 26th!! So wish me luck! and that i can study patiently…seems like i’ve been short of patience these few days trying to study…sit down 2 hrs = play 4 hrs! AHAHAHHAHAH! dead! OCTOBER FEST

this was practice…while someone was playing with my hp cam! and the one on the right is gerald… I wore socks cos its directly after badminton! Oh…the actual performance was at Kr50 and it was Oli’s 21st =( so sorry i couldnt make it oli =(!!!! ahahaha but the perf was gr8 and the free food was even more awesome..but the BEST WAS THE FREE BEER! ahhaha i bumped into a few of eugene’s church friends there too…just a pity i didn’t see my fyp prof there so that i could make him gimme A for my CA2 AHhahahah! my left cheek is supposed to be a pumpkin…but it was disfigured with white paint at Al Amin!

That was my night cycling…a pity chunting and oli wasn’t there! The last time i cycled was last year’s night cycling! ahahah seems like if there’s no more night cycling i wont go cycling..is that why aili goes to east coast!? HAHAHHA to cycle!?!!? aili..remember our bird pain!! It didn’t happen to me this year leh! strange! maybe i got used to it after 3 years? ahhahaha!!

 

GREAT EASTERN 10K WOMEN RUN!

My greatest accomplishment in running IN MY LIFE!!! I’ve NEVER ran this far and that long before…I took 1:24 to complete 10K which included stopping at the 7.5Km mark and walking for 500m! ahahah from the 8K mark to the 10K mark..i ran with all my guts! so here is the photo to victory…
